RouteMate ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile applications, website (routemate.app), and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and optional profile information (name, country, home address).

Route and Delivery Data: We store routes, stops, addresses, and delivery status information that you create within the app.

Location Data: With your permission, we collect GPS location data when you use the "Go Online" driver tracking feature. Location data is only collected while the feature is actively enabled and can be stopped at any time.

Photos and Camera: When you use the AI label scanning feature, photos are processed to extract address information. Photos are sent to Google Gemini for AI processing and are not stored on our servers after processing.

Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage statistics such as API call counts, route optimization frequency, and feature usage to improve the Service.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the Service
• To optimize delivery routes using Google Routes API
• To process AI label scanning via Google Gemini
• To geocode addresses using Mapbox
• To process payments via Apple, Google Play, or Stripe

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase: Our backend infrastructure provider, which hosts our database and authentication services
• Google: For Maps, Routes API, and Gemini AI services
• Mapbox: For address geocoding
• Stripe: For payment processing (team subscriptions)
• Apple / Google: For in-app purchase processing

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security policies ensuring you can only access your own data. We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. We do not store payment card details — all payment processing is handled by Apple, Google, or Stripe.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data and routes will be permanently deleted. Anonymous usage statistics may be retained for analytical purposes.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Export your route and address data
• Withdraw consent for location tracking at any time
